When Does EA FC 27 Come Out?

The official EA FC 27 release date is September 25, 2026.

The two dates to remember are:

September 18, 2026 — EA FC 27 Early Access

September 25, 2026 — Worldwide Release

Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition players can receive up to seven days of Early Access, while EA Play members will also have access to a limited trial.

For Ultimate Team players, those first seven days can be extremely valuable. Coins, rewards, SBCs and strong starter players have a much bigger impact at the beginning of the game.

What's New in EA FC 27?

FC 27 introduces several gameplay changes designed to give players more control.

One of the biggest changes is reduced AI defending, meaning manually controlling your defenders and timing tackles correctly should become more important.

EA is also improving attacking movement, dribbling, crossing and player positioning.

As always, discovering the FC 27 meta will be one of the biggest priorities during the first weeks.

EA FC 27 Ultimate Team Changes

Ultimate Team is also receiving major updates.

One of the biggest additions is the new FUT Gallery, which allows players to collect and register Player Items throughout the FC 27 cycle.

Evolutions will become more flexible with different upgrade pathways, while EA is also changing how PlayStyles and PlayStyle+ upgrades work.

FC 27 is expected to have a slower overall power curve compared with FC 26, potentially allowing valuable cards to remain competitive for longer.
